The Benefits of Membership: 

Membership in Kappa Alpha Lambda has beneficial effects for our Members.  As the Sorority continues to grow, we are establishing a network of women that are focused, goal-oriented, and successful in fraternal, personal, professional, and community endeavors. Our intent is to create an organization of women who "strive to impact the world" on a daily basis, in every area from education to business, politics, society, and family life. Our success in fulfilling these goals is based upon the continued efforts and support of our dedicated membership. 

We seek to inspire extraordinary women to new heights in their personal and professional lives through collective social endeavor, leadership opportunities, and fraternal fellowship. Our goal is to initiate women with a desire to promote the ideals and programs of Kappa Alpha Lambda Sorority, Incorporated through visibility and action. 

As Kappa Alpha Lambda expands, we are encompassing a variety of membership classifications. From professional women to undergraduates, the Members of Kappa Alpha Lambda offer life experiences and expertise from all walks, giving the Sorority a unique perspective on fulfilling the needs of current and prospective members of various ages, professions, and geographic areas.  
 
Our Membership Requirements:  
 
At least 18 years of age  
A registered voter  
Have completed a secondary (high school) educational program  
A contributing member of her community through service.  
Exemplify good character 
A well-demonstrated leader  
Willing to commit to a Membership Education period  
Able and willing to fulfill all financial obligations  
Able to promote Kappa Alpha Lambda in her community
